Be Present
-You must be in your seat when the bell rings. Have binder and all materials (including your homework) out on your desk
Be Prepared
-Bring all materials needed for class (binder, paper, pen/pencil, textbook, homework). You will NOT be permitted to go to your locker to retrieve missing materials after the bell rings.
-If materials are not turned in on the assigned date at the beginning of class, they are considered late. Late work turned in after the assignment is collected/checked will earn half credit
-Arrive to class on time EVERY DAY
-If you miss a class, the procedure is as follows:
(1) Check corresponding folder for missed work, (2) ask a classmate, (3) ask the teacher
-For homework, students must be ready to submit it the day he/she returns: if it is turned in after the student has returned, it will be worth half credit
-For quizzes and exams, students have a week to make them up
-For major assignments/projects, students will receive a ZERO if they are in school on the due date and fail to submit the paper
For unexcused absences, all assignments missed (regardless of point value) will earn a ZERO
Be “On Task”
-You should be working on or discussing information pertaining to class
-Incomplete work should be finished for homework
Be Polite
-Listen when others are speaking. Raise your hand and wait to be called upon
-Keep your hands to yourself
-Keep classroom equipment as neat and clean as possible
-Use school appropriate language
-Remain in your seat until the bell rings or until the teacher dismisses the class
-Do not pack up your materials before class is over
-Do not leave the classroom without permission
-Keep phone away during class, unless otherwise instructed by the teacher

-Cheating or plagiarism will NOT be tolerated and students will earn a ZERO on any assignment that is plagiarized
